Chicken Noodle Casserole
Ingredients
1/4 c. onion,
chopped
2 tbsp. Troyer roll butter
2 c. cooked chicken, diced
12 oz.
favorite Amish Wedding Food Noodles
cooked & drained
1/2 c.
milk
1 can chicken soup
1 can mushroom soup
2 tbsp. pimento
1/4 c.
chopped almonds, toasted
Directions
Brown onion in butter.
Blend
soups, browned onion and rest of ingredients.
Pour into casserole.
Top
with almonds. Bake at 375 degrees for 1
hour.

Wide Noodles

My niece made a chicken noodle dish for me while I was visiting in Huntsville. She simmered the chicken until done in part water and part chicken broth. When the chicken was done she cut the chicken into bite size pieces and put it back in the boiling broth and added these wide noodles. She cooked them and let the broth cook down until it was almost gone. At that time she added a can of cream of chicken soup. This was a easy meal and so good. When I got back to California I got on line and ordered these noodles to cook for my family.
