Creme Brulee Cheeseball & Dessert Mix
Directions for Cheeseball:
1) Mix contents of Creme Brulee packet with 8oz. cream cheese and 4 Tbs. softened butter or margarine.*
2) Chill mixture until firm.
3) Shape into a ball and roll in contents of topping packet.
*Low-fat alternative: Use low-fat cream cheese and omit butter. May not set up as a ball but tastes great as a spread.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve with Cookies, graham crackers, or fruit. For extra fun use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar topping on the cheeseball!
Traditional Creme Brulee:
In a 2 qt saucepan, pour 2 cups heavy cream. Add Creme Brulee mix. Stir constantly over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil (mixture will be thin). Divide evenly into 4 ramekins or custard cups. Chill at least 2 hours. Just before serving, top with Sugar Topping and caramelize with torch to form crisp layer.
Ingredients: Creme Brulee Mix: Maltrodextrin, sugar, creamer (partially hydrogenated soybean oil, maltodextrin, sodium caseinate (milk) dipotassium phosphate, polysorbate 60, monoglycerides), egg yolk less than 2% of carrageenan, sodium citrate, natural falvors, beta carotene (color). Topping: Sugar.
